Meet Dean and Umit, founders of Wedding Day Diamonds
You may know them from years and years on the radio, cracking wise and extolling the virtues of the way they make choosing an engagement ring feel a whole lot like falling in love itself.
They didn’t want to be just another couple of talking heads on the radio. So instead, they chose to zig while other jewelers zagged, blanketing the Twin Cities’ airwaves with occasionally ridiculous, hopefully entertaining charades.
Some people thought the ads were hilarious—some, not so much—but either way, it was just the two brothers being themselves, letting you see them for who they really are…a couple of good-hearted guys running a family-owned business.
But there’s one thing you can count on: Dean and Umit (pronounced YOU-me) get downright serious when it comes to diamonds. Over the past decade, they've built Wedding Day Diamonds from a couple of small stores to five locations all across the Twin Cities.
