If you bought it at Wedding Day Diamonds, it's guaranteed. It's just that simple. Even if you lose a diamond from a ring you purchased from Wedding Day Diamonds, we will replace it.

All maintenance is free forever.

The only thing we are unable to guarantee is that you won't lose your jewelry. For that you need insurance.

Additional Information

  • No clean and checks, ever. No inspections required. Most jewelers will require regular inspections to keep your warranty valid, but not Wedding Day Diamonds.
  • You do not pay for our warranty. It automatically comes with your purchase.
  • No need to keep a copy of our warranty for your records; we will never question it when your ring needs repairs.
  • Warranties are not transferable

Layaways

If you need additional time to pay for your ring before you get down on one knee, we’re here to help. With the Wedding Day Diamonds layaway policy, we’ll put your ring aside, with your name on it, and the price locked in. Just plan ahead, give yourself 6 months, and we will accept payments along the way.

  • We require a minimum deposit of 10% of the purchase price for layaway.
  • Layaways must be paid in full within 180 days.
  • Each month, 10% of the purchase price is due.
  • No refunds after 60 days.
  • If any of these policies are non-compliant, the layaway will be cancelled and the money on the account will become store credit.

Appraisals

When you pick up your new engagement ring from Wedding Day Diamonds, you will receive “Insurance Replacement Documentation” free of charge. Please use this documentation to find an insurance policy that fits your needs.

Although the Wedding Day Diamond warranty provides free maintenance forever, including the loss of diamonds, we cannot cover a completely lost or stolen piece of jewelry.

We will provide FREE Insurance Replacement Documentation for a lifetime.

Insurance

Perfect CircleLife is unpredictable. And in the event you lose your entire piece of jewelry, insurance is the way to have it replaced. Wedding Day Diamonds will guarantee that from the moment you put your ring on your finger, we will make sure it looks fabulous. But, make sure you are covered by insurance for those unpredictable moments in life.

Our Amazing Trade-in Policy

Wedding Day Diamonds is here to help should you choose to trade your Wedding Day diamond for something new and different. Your spectacular new diamond will be just as special as that first stunning diamond you purchased.

If you choose to trade in your diamond, simply find a diamond that retails for at least $1 more than your original diamond. You won’t lose money on your original purchase.

Here's an example of how our trade-in policy works:

  • Price paid for original diamond: $2,000
  • Trade-in value (same as what you originally paid): $2,000
  • New diamond (must be of higher value than your original diamond): $2,250
  • Out-of-pocket expense for the new diamond: $250 + tax

This trade-in policy applies to all loose diamonds, Atia 81 pre-set solitaires, Atia 81 diamond studs and Atia 81 diamond pendants.

Return Policy

All jewelry has a 60-day return policy from the date of purchase.

Exchange Policy

Semi Mounts

You may exchange all semi mounts once within 365 days from the date of purchase.

Diamond Fashion Hoops

If you damage or lose a diamond fashion hoop within 365 days from the date of purchase, we will replace it once free of charge. You must still have the other earring within your possession. (For more information, please call 1-866-740-RING)

Men's Wedding Bands

For a fee of $50, you may exchange your wedding band due to damage or for a size exchange.

Loose Diamonds

You may trade in your Wedding Day diamond for a more expensive one at any time. You will get full value for what you originally paid for your diamond and you must exchange it for a diamond that is at least $1 over what you paid.

Online Returns and Exchanges

Our in-store return and exchange policies apply directly to online purchases as well. All purchases made online can be returned or exchanged via mail or in store. If you chose to stop into one of our stores, a sales associate will walk you through the entire process from start to finish.

If you choose to mail your return:

  • Please make sure all original contents, packaging and paper work are included in your shipment. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Purchased Jewelry
    • Receipts
    • Ring Boxes
    • Diamond Certifications
    • Insurance Replacement Documentation
  • Any package that is missing original contents may be refused.
  • Wedding Day Diamonds is not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the items are damaged upon arrival.

If you need to exchange an item via mail:

  • Wedding Day Diamonds will process your exchange within 2 business days from the date of receiving your package. A customer service representative will call you with further information regarding any exchanges that need to be made. This is to ensure the accuracy of your order and offer more information in regards to time frame and shipping details.

Custom Design FAQs

  • How long does the process take?

    A custom design can take as little as 16 days. Depending on the intricacy and detail of your piece, the process can take longer. But do not worry. We will work as fast as you would like with as much detail as possible to get it just right.

  • Is custom jewelry more expensive?

    Most jewelry stores have custom fees that are astronomical compared to designs they carry in their stores. But at Wedding Day, it does not matter that its being custom made just for you. You will not see a significant difference in a custom piece you create compared to a style you may see in our showcases.

  • Is my custom design covered under the Wedding Day Diamond Warranty?

    Of course! All jewelry purchased from Wedding Day is covered by our lifetime warranty. We make sure the custom piece you create is up to our standards of quality just like any other piece we carry in our stores. We want you to be 100% happy with your piece and we will take care of it for a lifetime.

  • What if I don't like the piece I create?

    If you do not like the piece of jewelry you created, you have 60 days to return it and up to 365 days to exchange it once for something of equal or greater value.

  • What kind of jewelry can be custom created?

    If you can dream it, we can create it!

  • Can I call or stop in to a store before I fill out the online form?

    Of course you can stop in to our stores before you fill out the form. Simply tell your associate you are interested in custom making a piece of jewelry and they will walk you through the entire process.

  • Is it hard to customize a piece of jewelry?

    It’s very EASY to custom make a piece of jewelry at Wedding Day. No need to understand jewelry terms or even know exactly what you want. We will walk you through the process, brainstorm ideas and even help you find pictures that could describe what you are looking for.

  • How do I choose metal type or diamond quality for my jewelry?

    A representative will guide you through the entire process and offer suggestions for every detail along the way, including metal type and diamond quality. Sometimes these choices will be based on design limitations, other times on the budget. But no matter what, we will always let you know what is possible.

  • Can I create a piece of jewelry with my own diamonds and gemstones?

    Of course!!! Simply bring in the stones you want to use so we can measure them and reference them while we work with you to design your piece.

  • Can I create a new piece of jewelry from an old piece I have already?

    Most of the time, we cannot re-use the metal from old jewelry. However, it’s possible we can use the diamonds or gemstones. Simply bring them in when you meet with a representative about your design.

  • I used my own diamonds and gemstones that were not purchased from Wedding Day into a new piece of custom jewelry. Are they covered under your warranty?

    Unfortunately, Wedding Day cannot warranty anything that was not purchased from our stores. We promise to always take great care with heirloom diamonds and gemstones but please make sure that your diamonds and gemstones are insured in case anything were to happen during the creation of your jewelry or after.

  • How long do repairs take?

    Most repairs take one week to complete. Your repair will go into a queue based on the day you drop it off at one of our stores. If you need something done quickly, please give our stores a call.

  • Do you take appointment for repair work?

    We do our best to accommodate clients that need repair work done in a short amount of time. We know that some clients live out of town and need work done on the spot. If you need an appointment, please call one of our stores and we will do our best to make it as convenient as possible for you.

  • If I live out of town, how do I send in my jewelry to get repaired?

    If you do not live near Wedding Day Diamonds, you may ship your jewelry to one of our stores. Please make sure to call the store before you send it so we can be prepared for your shipment.Click here for our Repair Shipment Form.

  • What do I do if my ring is damaged?

    If you think your ring is damaged, stop wearing it and bring it to one of our stores as soon as possible. We will take a look and assess what needs to be repaired.

  • What do I do if my ring need to be re-sized?

    Most rings can be resized by our goldsmiths. However, some rings may need to be replaced due to many different factors including but not limited to:<ul><li>Ladies Diamond Eternity Bands</li><li>Men’s Tungsten Carbide Bands</li><li>Men’s Cobalt Rings</li><li>Any other alternative metal rings</li><li>Rings that need to re-sized more than 2 sizes up or down</li><li>Rings with engraved detail</li></ul>Stop into Wedding Day so a representative can let you know what is recommended.   • Do I need to have my jewelry inspected?

    Our NO FINE PRINT WARRANTY does NOT require any inspections. However, it is recommended to get your jewelry cleaned and inspected about every 6 months. If there is something that needs to be done, we will let you know and make arrangements to have it repaired.

  • How much do repairs cost if I did not purchase the item from Wedding Day?

    Cost can vary depending on many different factors. For a quote on repair work, stop into Wedding Day Diamonds and a representative will inspect the ring and let you know what is recommended.

  • What is clean and check?

    A clean and check is the process of inspecting your jewelry. Stop in anytime and ask for a clean and check! It’s FREE! A representative will take a look at your jewelry under a microscope, check for any loose stones or other damage that may need to be addressed. If everything looks great, we will professionally clean and steam it for you while you wait. If there are repairs needed, we will let you know and help you get it taken care of.

  • My diamond fell out; what do I do?

    If your diamond fell out and you have possession of it, bring it in to one of our stores as soon as possible. We will take a look at your jewelry and help you get it reset and/or repaired.If your diamond fell out and you cannot find it, please call a store to make an appointment with the store manager. Most jewelry that is missing diamonds must be taken in by a manager and sent to our corporate office.

  • I need my ring cut off; what do I do?

    Our goldsmiths are typically at our stores Monday through Friday, 11am-6pm. Please call one of the following stores to make sure someone is available to assist you.(If it is an emergency, please contact your local hospital.   • My white gold ring is turning yellow; what do I do?

    All white gold has a plating called rhodium on it. It is rhodium that creates the white metal color on your ring. Over time, this plating can wear off. When this occurs, simply bring in your ring to get re-rhodium plated and polished. We recommend doing this no more than once a year in order to keep the integrity of your ring for as long as possible.

  • My ring has scratches in it; can you polish it for me?

    All precious metals scratch over time and we will definitely help you polish your ring and remove as many scratches as we can. However, we recommend this service no more than once a year in order to keep the integrity of your ring for as long as possible.

  • Is it true that alternative metal rings cannot be repaired?

    In most cases, repair work on alternative metal rings is not possible. Due to the nature of alternative metals, most cannot be polished, soldered or re-sized. If your alternative metal ring is damaged or you need a different size, please click here. (Link to men’s wedding band exchanges.)

Simply fill out this form with your information as well as your friend’s information. You both will receive an email within one business day confirming your submission. After confirmation of your friend’s purchase, we will send both of you a gift card in the mail.
